SRE Agent Analysis

An Azure DevOps extension that adds an SRE Agent Analysis tab to pipeline build results. When the Azure SRE Agent analyzes a pipeline failure, the results are displayed directly in your build results page — no need to leave Azure DevOps.

Features

  • Build Results Tab — An "SRE Agent Analysis" tab appears on every pipeline build results page
  • Inline Analysis — View the full root cause analysis and remediation steps directly in Azure DevOps
  • Portal Link — Jump straight to the full analysis thread in the SRE Agent portal
  • Per-Team Configuration — Each team can point to a different SRE Agent resource and set of allowed pipelines
  • Settings Hub — Configure everything from Project Settings → SRE Agent in Azure DevOps

How It Works

  1. The Azure SRE Agent monitors your pipeline builds and automatically investigates failures.
  2. When you open the build results page, the SRE Agent Analysis tab shows the analysis inline with a link to the full thread in the SRE Agent portal.

Configuration

After installation, configure the extension for your team(s):

  1. Navigate to your project in Azure DevOps
  2. Go to Project Settings → SRE Agent
  3. Click + New Configuration
  4. Fill in the settings:
Setting Description
Configuration Name Friendly name for this config (e.g. your team name)
Subscription ID Azure subscription GUID hosting the SRE Agent
Resource Group Resource group containing the SRE Agent
Agent Name Name of the SRE Agent resource
Allowed Pipeline IDs Comma-separated pipeline definition IDs (empty = all pipelines)
  1. Click Save Settings
