Update Pipeline Variable (Azure DevOps Extension)

Details

This extension will add a Release task in your TFS/VSTS instance that will help you to update pipeline variable value for the next run.

Prerequisites

• Windows \ Hosted agent.
• Repository must be VSTS Git.
• PowerShell installed on your agent server.
• Allow scripts to access Oauth must be Enabled or Pass PAT value to the Task.
• Project Collection Build Service or PAT must have rights to manage pipeline rights for that particular repository

Tasks included in the Extension

• Update Pipeline Variable: This task is used to update value of pipeline variable.
• Update Variable-Group Variable: This task is used to update value of variable-group variable.
