Fortify Security Assistant for Visual Studio 2022

Security Assistant for Visual Studio provides real time, as you type code, security analysis and results. It provides structural and configuration analyzers that are purpose built for speed and efficiency to power our most instantaneous security feedback tool. Find vulnerabilities just by writing code and we will help you prevent costly security mistakes.

Security issues detected as you write code are displayed in the default Error List window under warnings. All security issues contain rich details and recommendations enabling developers to quickly address security vulnerabilities. In addition to real time analysis, a full solution-wide analysis is available in the interface.

Requirements:

• A valid Fortify license. All current Fortify Static Code Analyzer customers are entitled to use Security Assistant and it works with your existing license. If you have any issues, please contact support. Fortify on Demand customers should contact a TAM to obtain a license.
• Up-to-date Fortify Security Content, which you can download from a server or use from a local copy.
