Overview

AWS EKS Auhtentication Tools for Microsoft Azure DevOps adds tasks easily to enable relase pipelines in Azure DevOps to work with AWS EKS Authentication.

Purpose

- Download an install aws-iam-authenticator in Azure DevOps Agent Host.
- Configure AWS authentication Environment variables.

Configuring an AWS Service Connection

Create a new service connection AWS EKS type and provide the following parameters. Please refer to About Access Keys:

• A name used to refer to the credentials when configuring the AWS IAM Authenticator tasks
• AWS Access Key ID
• AWS Secret Access Key
