Work Item Suggestions: Get AI-driven suggestions for new child work items, including Features for an Epic, User Stories for a Feature, and Test Cases for a User Story.
Work Item Refinement: Enhance work items by adding or correcting information using AI, transforming drafts into complete work items based on the COSMO Azure DevOps Baseline. This includes Epics, Features, User Stories, Tasks, Test Cases, and Bugs.
Task Suggestion: Create tasks for a User Story based on customizable configurations aligned with the COSMO Azure DevOps Baseline.
Metadata: Enrich your work items with metadata from linked work items or COSMO Loop.
Link Work Items: Identify similar work items within the project or organization for duplication checks or to quickly link related work items for AI interactions.
Chat Prompt: Use the COSMO Parrot to translate work items, suggest missing information, or explain complex topics in simple terms.
Image Recognition: Employ AI to recognize images within work item texts.
Requirements
This extension is exclusive to COSMOnauts. It requires a COSMO Platform login for user authentication and reauthentication every 24 hours.
Installation
Open the Azure DevOps organization where you want to install the extension.
Go to Organization Settings, select Extensions, and click on Browse marketplace.
Search for COSMO Parrot for Work Items and click Install.
Open the COSMO Parrot organization settings and configure the extension. See Setup for more details.
Setup
Use Description/Solution Field: Decide whether to use the Description field (default) for technical details or a custom Solution field (see Customizations).
Suggest Tasks Configuration: Define the task configuration for the Suggest Tasks feature using {{variables}} and [[instructions]] for AI-based values.
AI Client: Select COSMO Parrot to utilize the global backend.
Customizations
The COSMO Parrot for Work Items can utilize the following customizations. These fields are optional but will be used by the AI if they exist or are configured.
New field Solution (Custom.Solution)
Defines the technical details and implementation of a work item.
Data Type: multiline string

New field Platform (Custom.Platform)
Defines the platform that the work item is associated with.
Data Type: picklist string with values Undefined, Dynamics 365 Business Central, Dynamics 365 for Finance and Supply Chain Management, Dynamics 365 CRM, Dynamics 365 Human Resources, Power Platform, and End-to-End.
Applies to Epic, Feature and User Story
New field Test Level (Custom.TestLevel) (picklist string)
Defines the test level of the work item.
Data Type: picklist string with values AL Test, AL Performance Test, UI Test, and Manual Test.
