Azent

Azent is an AI coding agent that lives inside Azure DevOps. Trigger it from work items and pull requests to implement features, fix bugs, review PRs, address review comments, edit wiki pages, and more — without leaving the browser.

What it does

  • Implement work items — describe the change in a work item, click Implement with Azent, and the agent creates a branch, writes the code, and opens a PR linked to the work item.
  • Fix PR comments — click Fix comments with Azent on a pull request to have the agent address review feedback and push updates back to the same branch.
  • Review pull requests — click Review with Azent to get inline comments and a summary review on the PR.
  • Run history at a glance — the Azent Runs tab on work items and pull requests shows queued, running, completed, and failed runs with streaming logs.

Where it appears

Once installed, you'll see Azent surfaces in these places across your Azure DevOps organization:

  • Work item form — Azent group panel with quick status and the Azent Runs page.
  • Work item toolbar — Implement with Azent action.
  • Pull request action menu — Review with Azent and Fix comments with Azent actions.
  • Pull request tabs — Azent Runs tab for run history and logs.

Getting started

  1. Install the extension into your Azure DevOps organization.
  2. Trigger your first run from a work item or pull request.
