Razor Diagnostics

Use the Razor Diagnostics extension to help analyze the current state of your Razor and Web Editor assemblies. This information can be used when reporting issues to the Visual Studio Web Tools team.

Note: This extension will only install on Visual Studio 2017 v15.8 and higher.

What You Get

A new command (Output Razor Diagnostics) is provided in the Tools menu of Visual Studio.

What It Does

When activated, the command will print information in the Output Window in Visual Studio.

What To Do With It

The information, printed in plain text, can be copied directly from the Output Window and can then be forwarded to relevant parties or posted on help forums as required.
