Word Highlight

About

This is an extension supported for VS2010 and VS2012. It searches and highlights all occurrences of a selected word in a text editor.

Installation

Install the extension and verified that it is enabled in the Tools->Extension Manager.

Usage

In the editor window, when you select a word with a mouse or keyboard, this extension will searches and highlights all occurrences of current selected word in the current document.

Settings

You can change settings of the extension by go to "Tools" -> "Word Highlight settings..." menu. 

• Background color of marks for occurrences
• Border color of marks for occurences
• Background color of selected word
• Border color of selected word
• Enable/disable case sensitive searching
• Enable/disable matching whole words by search
• Enable/disable searching only when select whole word or part of word
• Enable/disable searching for letter or digit only
