How to use 7-Zip build / release tasks

*** This task will require 7-Zip to be installed on the machine. Hosted Agents are currently NOT supported, we are working on adding support.

Archive

• Add a new task and select 7-Zip Archive.

• Input or Select Folder to archive.
• Input archive file to archive the folder into. (This can be new or existing.)
• Select the archive file format; 7z or zip.
• Remove Folder After Compression - When checked, the folder will be removed after the compression is complete.

Extract

• Add a new task and select 7-Zip Extract.

• Input or Select archive file to extract.
• Input Target Folder to extract the archive file into.
• Remove Archive After Extraction - When checked, the archive file will be removed after the extraction is complete.
