If you share resources across teams or projects, you need visibility of where your people are committed before you can determine the capacity available for iteration planning.

Basic requirements of this application:

1. This tool uses the Original Estimate value which must be set in hours.
2. Only ticket types below User Story are examined.

While Azure Devops makes it difficult to get a holistic view across all projects and teams, this tool provides a complete view of the allocation of all resources regardless of their team or project. Resources that are over-committed are highlighted for attention, and the capacity per sprint is configurable.

The tool offers two algorithms to allow you flexibility in the way you work, as seen below.

Click on a resource to view all their commitments, the interactive graphical display at the top activated when you run your cursor over details in the week columns. Click on a value to see the tickets making up the number, and click on the iteration names to view the iteration in Azure Devops.
