Template description

This extension contains MapKit WPF, WinForms and WebAPI project templates.

MapKit WPF

This project template creates a Windows Presentation Foundation client application with SlimGIS MapKit WPF component referenced. It also wires those features in.

• Add necessary references.
• Define a full screen SlimGIS MapKit WPF component in the default window.
• Load an OpenStreetMap as base map.
• Load a Shapefile vector layer with its used data in the project.
• Build-in touch gestures, navigation, annotation, spatial function, animation and more.

MapKit WinForms

This project template creates a Windows Forms client application with SlimGIS MapKit WinForms component referenced. It also wires those features in.

• Add necessary references.
• Defined a full screen SlimGIS MapKit WinForms component.
• Load an OpenStreetMap layer.
• Load a Shapefile layer with its used data in the project.

MapKit WebAPI

This project template creates a simple WebAPI RESTful service with SlimGIS MapKit WebAPI component referenced. It also wires those features in.

• Add necessary references.
• Defined a client map with OpenLayer client library referenced.
• Load an OpenStreetMap on client.
• Setup an XYZ service that renders shapefile with predefined styles.

When the project is created, press "F5" to restore the include packages, then build and launch the application.
