ServiceNow DevOps

This extension allows you to integrate with ServiceNow DevOps. This extension contains custom tasks including agent and server job notifications along with a server change acceleration task to create ServiceNow change requests as part of the Azure pipeline.

The ServiceNow DevOps extension includes:

• ServiceNow DevOps service connection to connect to ServiceNow DevOps
• Server job change acceleration custom task to automatically create ServiceNow Change Management change requests from an Azure pipeline
• Server and agent job package and artifact registration custom tasks
• Server and agent job notification custom tasks to send notifications to ServiceNow DevOps

Change Acceleration

Automatically create Change Requests for stages under change control. There is a DevOps Change Workflow and DevOps Change Approval policy to enable automating DevOps change approvals.

Support Model

ServiceNow customers may request support through the Now Support (HI) portal.

Governance Model

Initially, ServiceNow product management and engineering representatives will own governance of these integrations to ensure consistency with roadmap direction. In the longer term, we hope that contributors from customers and our community developers will help to guide prioritization and maintenance of these integrations. At that point, this governance model can be updated to reflect a broader pool of contributors and maintainers.
