Automatically creates predefined tasks when a Work Item in Requirements category is added.
TaskO helps you to reduce efforts for tasks creation and brings accuracy to efforts accounting.
How does TaskO help you in improving productivity, compliance and reduce costs
In your organization if **300** tasks are created per day, in multiple teams, then assuming that it takes 30 seconds per task to create, **TaskO saves about 150 minutes per day**. **That works out to be saving of about 3000 minutes or 50 hours per month for the organization**.
One license of TaskO can be used by one user for creating task templates for many teams. You need to purchase licenses for only users that are going to create or edit task templates. For other users the license is not required.
TaskO ensures that predefined set of tasks are created automatically for each requirement. This improves your efforts management and compliance to the rule of tasks creation.
Existing features:
For each project you can define set of tasks as templates.
Whenever anyone in the project creates work item in Requirements category (Requirement or User Story or PBI depending upon your process template),
Once the task templates are defined, you can apply those to existing work items in Requirements category (Requirements, User Stories, Product Backlog Items) that are in the New or Active state in the project.
Children tasks now inherit the area and iteration of the parent work item at the time of creation.
TaskO will create set of tasks as defined in your task templates. It will also link those tasks as children to that newly created requirement work item.
For Example: You have created task templates as follows:
Create or change design
Create business logic code
Create UI
Create test case
Run test cases
Now when a team member creates a User Story #234 (assuming you have used Agile process template at the time of creation of your team project), TaskO will create following tasks:
Create or change design for work item #234
Create business logic code for work item #234
Create UI for work item #234
Create test case for work item #234
Run test cases for work item #234
TaskO will then link those tasks as children to User Story #234
When you start using TaskO, for the first time you will need to authorize TaskO to access work item service in your account. After that for each project you can create a separate set of task templates.
