SCIA OpenAPI Project Template

By installing this extension, you will be provided with a new project template that will help you jumpstart your SCIA OpenAPI development.

Featuring a small wizard which lets you select the target SCIA Engineer version and method of interation with the Open API, this extension will create a project for you that is ready-to-run.

Creating a new project using the template:

Configuring the basic project settings: (Please note that the .NET Framework version is tied to .NET 4.6.1)

The custom wizard for further configuration of your project:

• Include samples: Indicate if you want to have a ready-to-run sample model (a basic beam, with 2 nodes) to try out with
• Interaction method:
  • Simple: Use the basic OpenAPI functionality as described here
  • Use the more advanced Analytical Data Model ADM
