How often have you felt exhausted after a quarterly or sprint planning and still lack ADO hygiene and wished it could have been easier rather than being so intense and labor intensive? We come to the rescue with “ScrumBuddy ADO Extension.”

A simple and effective solution to help you in planning quarter/semester/any other and sprint activities by reducing the manual toil and planning cycle time during the planning days.

Iteration Planner

UI to assist scrum teams in planning backlogs that best meet available capacity and target planning restrictions.

Capacity Planner

A collaborative view to capture availability details of the team, and team members, and synchronize with ADO enabling better trackability of vacation plans leading to a better sprint execution.

Getting Started

• Under boards, go to ScrumBuddy extension.

• Click on Board Settings

• Choose required settings for creating a board or select an existing board

• Current state of ADO items based on selected settings will be loaded

• In capacity planning tab, add holidays and individual vacation plans

• Upon clicking save changes to ADO, the holidays will be added as team days off and individual days off will be added in respective sprints according to the dates.

• In iteration planning, select feature for planning their iterations. Multiple features can be planned at once.

• Drag and drop user stories to required sprints and the analyics section gets updated accordingly

• Change the target planning and story point conversion through the sliders

• Each user story displays priority and story points for ease of decision making

• Save changes to ADO. This will update the iteration paths of the userstories based on where they are dragged.
