  • Labels only when you need them. A label appears only when the block's opening line is above the visible area. If you can already see the opening line, there's no label.
  • Labels say what the block is. Each one has a colored kind word and the details from the code:
    • Types: namespace, class, struct, interface, record, enum, and C# 14 extension blocks, with the name and base list.
    • Members: method, ctor, operator, local function, property, indexer, and event, with the full signature.
    • Control flow: if, else, else if, for, foreach, while, do, switch, try, catch, finally, using, lock, and more, with the condition or header.
  • Click to jump. Clicking a label moves the caret to the opening line and centers it.
  • Hover for the full text. The tooltip shows the untruncated label and the opening line number.
  • Never touches your code. Labels are drawn on top of the editor. They are not part of the text, are never saved or copied, and don't move the caret or columns.
  • Fast on big files. Parsing runs in the background, so typing and scrolling stay smooth even in files with thousands of lines.
  • Fits any theme. Labels are readable in the Dark, Light, and Blue themes.
