This tool is to get the change-set details for TFS anytime when we want.

Below are the process needs to be followed.

• Download tool

  • Make sure all Visual instance is closed

  • Make sure you have write permission for below folder

  • Folder:  C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Visual Studio\2017\Enterprise\Common7\IDE

  • You can change access by following below steps:

  •  Right click on IDE folder Properties Go to Security tab Selected your group Give full control Apply

  • Run exe 'Change-Set.vsix'

• Launch Visual studio

• Go to tools - Change Set

• Provide one time TFS server URI - "http://server:port/vdir" (URI information will auto fill next time when you will click on Change Set from Tool -Change Set )

• Provide Change set number

• Click on 'Get Details'

• Change Set details will be displayed in text box

• Click on 'Copy ' button

• Change set details ready to use
