Microsoft Reporting Services Projects 2022+

The Microsoft RDL report designer, projects and wizards for creating professional reports. This package provides support for the .rptproj type. This included the Report Designer authoring environment, where you can open, modify, preview, save, and deploy Reporting Services paginated report definitions, shared data sources, shared datasets, and report parts.

Known Issues:-

1. SSRS Map functionality is broken when used along with SSDT. While we fix that, Workaround can be used.

Workaround for map issue:-

1. Download https://www.nuget.org/packages/Microsoft.SqlServer.Types/160.1000.6
2. Extract the nuget package.
3. Copy "microsoft.sqlserver.types.160.1000.6\runtimes\win-x64\native\SqlServerSpatial160.dll" and "microsoft.sqlserver.types.160.1000.6\lib\net462\Microsoft.SqlServer.Types.dll"
4. Paste the above copied files in C:\Program Files\Microsoft Visual Studio\2022\Enterprise\Common7\IDE\Extensions\Microsoft\SQLDB\DAC
