Diagramming Controls and Comprehensive API
ILOG Diagram for .NET is a set of Windows Forms, WPF, and ASP.NET AJAX controls and a comprehensive API for charting flows, networks, diagrams, topologies, SCADA screens and dashboards within the Microsoft .NET Framework. It enables developers to create fully functional diagrams in minutes by using Microsoft Visual Studio 2008 (and 2005).
ILOG Diagram for .NET is shipped with three complete graphical editing tools for developers who want to build modeling tools: Diagram Designer, the UML Class Diagram Editor, and the Business Process Modeling Notation (BPMN) Editor.
Fully Integrated with Visual Studio
Most of the development is done graphically in Visual Studio. Developers can visually create custom animated symbols for their applications, design diagrams and dashboards, and bound graphics to the application code.
Developers can work with their preferred Microsoft .NET languages, including XAML, Microsoft Visual C#, Microsoft Visual J#, Microsoft Visual Basic .NET, and Managed C++.
Automatic Arrangement of Diagrams
ILOG Diagram for .NET includes a sophisticated set of graph layout algorithms that automatically arrange nodes and route diagram links, to make complex diagrams more readable. The algorithm you use depends on the diagram’s topology and the application domain. The algorithms include hierarchical, tree, force directed, grid, and link layout.
Using XAML and graph layout algorithms, developers can declaratively create sophisticated WPF diagrams bound to a variety of data sources.
Single Product to Deploy Windows, WPF, and ASP.NET AJAX Applications
Applications developed with ILOG Diagram for .NET can be deployed as Windows applications, WPF applications, or as Web Forms/ASP.NET AJAX applications. ASP.NET AJAX offers an engaging user experience for editing diagrams through a Web browser.
