File Content to Output Variable

NOTE THIS EXTENSION IS BASED ON Maik van der Gaag with tiny change to make the variable as an output variable

File Content To Variable is a Build and Release Task for wihtin your Build / Release pipeline.

With this tasks you can save the content of a file to an OUTPUT variable (Sharable between jobs).

This extension can be used to save the content of a specific file within your artifact or source control into a variable.

Within the task two parameters can be specified:

Source File: The file from which the content needs to be read.
Variable Name: The name of the variable specify it without $(..)
Add New Line: THe possibility to add a new line character meaning that you will have a single line variable
