Getting started

1. Get a NeueCode backend — www.neuecode.com (your admin may have already deployed one).
2. Install this extension in Visual Studio 2022.
3. Open View → Other Windows → NeueCode.
4. Sign in with your server URL — http://localhost:7000 when the backend runs on this machine, or your org's server (e.g. https://neuecode.yourcompany.com) — then your username and password.
5. Start chatting.

What you can do

• Chat with your agent in a dockable tool window — it streams its thinking and actions live, then answers.
• Ask / Auto approvals — Ask pauses for your OK before each tool (a diff for every write); Auto runs hands‑free. Switch anytime.
• Real tools — run shell commands, search & read the web, read/write files, recall memory, and delegate to specialist sub‑agents.
• Supervisor mode — orchestrate a team of specialist sub‑agents on bigger tasks.
• Vision & voice — attach a screenshot for the agent to analyze, or dictate with your mic (when enabled by your admin).
• Model switcher — hot‑swap the serving model from the composer.
• Verifiable sovereignty — a per‑run shield shows your code stayed on‑prem, backed by a tamper‑evident audit trail.
