We believe that your data is yours, and we are committed to keeping it that way. As a result, you can choose between local and cloud-based LLMs, depending on your security needs and preferences. Currently, Llama 2 can run either on your device's CPU or GPU, and GPT-3.5, GPT-4, and PaLM 2 can run via the cloud. Generate Pieces Shareable LinksYou can generate a shareable link for a code snippet by selecting the code you want to share via right-click > Pieces > Share. This will generate and copy a Pieces link to your clipboard, which you can share with your teammates, friends, or on social media!
Installation DetailsCompatible with Visual Studio 2022 and versions 17.9.0 and higher. In order to use the Pieces Visual Studio Extension, you must have Pieces OS. You will be prompted to install this once you have downloaded the Visual Studio extension.
