UWP Essentials

The easiest way to set up Visual Studio for the ultimate UWP development experience.

Extensions

After installing the UWP Essentials and restarting Visual Studio, the following extensions will be installed:

• Windows Template Studio
• Multilingual App Toolkit
• XAML Styler
• Console App (Universal) Project Templates
• CommandLine-Activated Windows App (Templates)
• Multi-Instance App Project Templates
• MVVMBasic Snippets
• Rapid XAML Toolkit
• Template Studio for UWP

If you already have one or more of these extensions installed, UWP Essentials will not re-install them.

Requires Visual Studio 2017 Update 8 or newer.

Note: Not all extensions are available for all versions of Visual Studio.
