This is a Visual Studio extension based upon the idea of ItaBackgroundImage, providing a configurable background for your Visual Studio text/code editors. KyuuBackground was also the first extension of this category which provides a standard & friendly configuration UI back then in the days of Visual Studio 2010. The UI is implemented with the spirit of easy localizating, which means you can translate it into your familiar language(s) easily with any resx/.NET assembly translating tool available to you. The source code of this extension is available at CodePlex, yes that's open source. Currently this extension supports Visual Studio 2012, Visual Studio 2013 and Visual Studio 2014 CTP. Use the "Tools" -> "Options" menu command and open the dialog, you can find the option page for "KyuuBackground" and set what background the text editors will use.
Your background settings will be saved in a XML file and named as "User.config" in a folder named "KyuuBackground" under your "My Documents". If you made any change to "User.config", it will be reflected to the editor immediately. For non-Chinese users, you will see the options in English. |
