Overview

The TestMu AI extension for Azure DevOps adds tasks to your Azure Pipelines build and release pipelines, so you can run tests on TestMu AI and see the results inside your pipeline.

TestMu AI (formerly LambdaTest) is a full-stack agentic AI quality engineering platform. Run manual and automated tests of web and mobile apps on 3,000+ browser and OS combinations and 10,000+ real devices, with network logs, command logs, console logs, video recordings and screenshots for every test.

What the extension adds

  • TestMu AI service connection: connect Azure DevOps to your TestMu AI account with your username and access key.
  • TestMu AI Configuration Setup task: sets your TestMu AI credentials for the job, starts TestMu AI Tunnel to test internal, development and staging environments, and turns on App Automation and SmartUI results.
  • TestMu AI Results task: brings your TestMu AI test results into the pipeline run.
  • TestMu AI Stop Tunnel task: stops the tunnel after your tests finish.
  • TestMu AI tab in build results: see executed tests without leaving Azure DevOps.

Get started

  1. Install the extension in your Azure DevOps organization.
  2. Create a service connection of type TestMu AI with your TestMu AI username and access key. You can find both in your TestMu AI profile.
  3. Add TestMu AI Configuration Setup before your test step and TestMu AI Results after it. Add TestMu AI Stop Tunnel if you turned on the tunnel.
  4. In your tests, read the build name from the LT_BUILD_NAME environment variable.
