The SSIS Integration Toolkit makes Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (FO) and AX integration simple. Our Dynamics 365 FO/AX integration solution is extremely easy to use, allowing you to develop data integration processes without writing a single line of code. It is equipped with sophisticated and robust error-handling capabilities that can effectively manage even the most intermittent errors.

Built on Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), the toolkit provides a cost-effective, high-performance, and flexible solution for integrating Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations and legacy versions of Microsoft Dynamics AX with virtually any application or data source. It includes the following major components to simplify your Microsoft Dynamics 365 FO/AX integration development:

  • Microsoft Dynamics AX Connection Manager
    • Facilitates the connection to Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations or Microsoft Dynamics AX server.
  • Microsoft Dynamics AX Source Component
    • Allows you to read data from Microsoft Dynamics 365 FO/AX Server using query statement with support for User and System Variables.
  • Microsoft Dynamics AX Destination Component
    • Facilitate writing data to Microsoft Dynamics 365 FO/AX Server, using different actions: Create, Update, Upsert, & Delete
    • Upsert action is based on manually selected matching field(s) with the option to ‘Ignore Unchanged Fields.’
    • Support for multithreaded writing using one single configuration.
  • Microsoft Dynamics AX Next Sequence Number Component
    • Retrieves the next sequence number from AX server.
  • Premium Service Lookup Component
    • Provides lookup capabilities by searching records in a Dynamics 365 F&O instance.

Licensing

We offer three licensing levels: Free Developer's License, Trial License, and a Commercial Subscription License.

  1. Free Developer's License: After installation, the toolkit defaults to a Free Developer License. This allows for unlimited use within a development environment (Visual Studio or SSDT) for design and testing purposes, provided you are running a development workstation operating system. Please note that a commercial license is required if the software is installed on a Server Operating System, even when used exclusively within Visual Studio. Additionally, a paid license is required to run packages outside the development environment (e.g., via command line, SQL Agent, or scheduled tasks).
  2. Trial License: If you want to evaluate whether the software functions properly outside of the development tools (SSDT-BI, BIDS, or Visual Studio), you can acquire a trial license using the License Manager program which is installed along with the software. To request a Trial License, please open the License Manager program (on your new server) and select “Change License Key”. You can leave the license field empty in this case. Once the other fields are completed, the “Request a Trial License” button will be enabled for your activation. After you have acquired a trial license, you will be able to run SSIS packages on a scheduled basis, or from any other Windows process such as command line. The trial software will operate fully-functional for the trial period, which is generally 14 days. When the trial period expires, the software will revert to the free developer license.
  3. Commercial Subscription License: A commercial license is required when executing unattended jobs (SQL Agent Job, dtexec command line, etc.). Various subscription terms are available.
