Integrate and migrate data to and from Dropbox with any other application or data source including Microsoft SharePoint, OneDrive, WordPress, and Box, to name just a few. Found in KingswaySoft's SSIS Integration Toolkit, the collection contains three components to facilitate data integration between Dropbox and virtually any other application or database system.

The following are the three components available within the SSIS Integration Toolkit to help facilitate your Dropbox integrations:

Dropbox Connection Manager

  • Used to establish the connection to Dropbox from within SSIS. Other than the below can also be used with other SSIS Integration Toolkit components including Premium Excel Source, Premium Excel Destination, Premium Flat File Source, Premium Flat File Destination, and Premium File Transfer Task.

Dropbox Source Component

  • An SSIS data flow component that facilitates retrieving data from Dropbox with various item retrieval modes such as retrieving files and folder or only files or choosing whether sub items should be retrieved as well.

Dropbox Destination Component

  • An SSIS data flow component that facilitates writing data to Dropbox. The component supports the options to create, delete, move or upsert objects to the cloud server.

Take advantage of the flexibility and power of the SSIS ETL engine to integrate with virtually any application or data source that you may need to work with.

Licensing

We offer three licensing levels: Free Developer's License, Trial License, and a Commercial Subscription License.

  1. Free Developer's License: After installation, the toolkit defaults to a Free Developer License. This allows for unlimited use within a development environment (Visual Studio or SSDT) for design and testing purposes, provided you are running a development workstation operating system. Please note that a commercial license is required if the software is installed on a Server Operating System, even when used exclusively within Visual Studio. Additionally, a paid license is required to run packages outside the development environment (e.g., via command line, SQL Agent, or scheduled tasks).
  2. Trial License: If you want to evaluate whether the software functions properly outside of the development tools (SSDT-BI, BIDS, or Visual Studio), you can acquire a trial license using the License Manager program which is installed along with the software. To request a Trial License, please open the License Manager program (on your new server) and select “Change License Key”. You can leave the license field empty in this case. Once the other fields are completed, the “Request a Trial License” button will be enabled for your activation. After you have acquired a trial license, you will be able to run SSIS packages on a scheduled basis, or from any other Windows process such as command line. The trial software will operate fully-functional for the trial period, which is generally 14 days. When the trial period expires, the software will revert to the free developer license.
  3. Commercial Subscription License: A commercial license is required when executing unattended jobs (SQL Agent Job, dtexec command line, etc.). Various subscription terms are available.
