Introducing the Search in Velocity Extension for Visual Studio! With a single shortcut search any of the over 150 documentation sets available offline inVelocity (a sample list is below).Requires Velocity to be installed. This is a Beta version of the extension and your feedback would be appreciated. The extension installs a command to your Help menu to Search in Velocity. By default, the extension will "steal" the default shortcut key for View Help (which opens help without searching), but only if it uses the default combination and you have not explicity assigned a shortcut to the Search in Velocity command. The default key is Ctrl+F1 for most default settings or Ctrl+F1, V for the C# default settings. The extension should detect the type of file your working on and filter the docsets accordingly when searching Velocity. Please let me know if you have any suggestions for improvement or find a file type that does not work as expected. The Search in Velocity extension is free to use. Velocity is a commercial product that is free to download and try. Some of the documentation sets available include: ActionScript, Android, AngularJS, Backbone, Bootstrap, C, C++, CoffeeScript, CSS, Dart, Django, Drupal, Go, Haskell, HTML, Java SE, JavaScript, jQuery, Lua, MongoDB, Mono, MySQL, Node.js, Perl, PHP, PostgreSQL, Python, Qt, Redis, Ruby, Ruby on Rails, Scala, SQLite, Underscore.js, Unity 3D, WordPress, Yii, and many more! Docsets are provided by Dash, the offline documentation viewer for OS X. |
