Overview
Visual Sidekick 3 offers a fast, up-to-date, searchable database of all project classes, symbols, files and project folders. Using a single sub-string filter query, Visual Sidekick will search all project files and symbols quickly and dynamically.
Major Features
Quickly find any file or symbol
Press Ctrl-Q (Quick Find) then type in sub-strings to narrow down the file or symbol across the entire solution.
Navigate code with speed
Press Ctrl-Enter to flip the Visual Studio editor between header and body files. Press Ctrl-Shift-Enter to flip the Visual Studio editor between the method's header specification and the method's implementation. Press Ctrl-Shift-L (Local Find) to sub-string search across all symbols in the current file and its headers.
Generate C++ code effortlessly
Type or modify a C++ class declaration in a header file, flip to the body and press Ctrl-Shift-G to generate method stubs for all new methods.
