Unicode Converter

This small extension converts the highlighted text into websafe text. It's using html entities whenever possible, otherwise converts special chars into their unicode notation.

Examples:

• copyright sign (©) would be converted into&copy
• latin capital ligature IJ (IJ) would be converted into IJ
• triangular bullet (‣) would be converted into ‣

There are two additional options in the settings dialog (Tools - Options - anheledir.NET - Unicode Converter):

• Newlines: Replaces linebreaks and paragraphs with their corresponding html tags (<p>...</p> respectivly<br />)
• Spaces: Replaces two or more spaces with the html entities for non-breaking spaces (&nbsp;)

You can start the convertion via the context menu ("Convert to websafe text") or by pressing the shortcut STRG+ALT+N
