Moves selected extensions to Main menu from the Extensions menu.

Starting from Visual Studio 2019, all extensions previously located in the Main menu were moved into the Extensions menu. This extension allows choosing between the new and old behavior by bringing up selected extensions into the Main menu.

Quickstart

By default, this extension moves all extension menus to the Main menu. This can be customized via the new Extensions | Configure Menu… command.

Note on the delayed load

The menu is rearranged only once the extension has loaded (asynchronously). Generally, this should happen in a reasonable amount of time after the startup, but may be delayed by other extensions or activity — such as loading a solution.

Moving only specific extensions

You can choose between moving all and only specific extensions on the new configuration page:

Customizing the order of top-level menus

New items in the Main menu follow the order of the corresponding items in the Extensions menu. If you are looking for a specific order, please consider altering the order of the items in the Extensions menu, as shown in the following screenshot.
