The Embold Visual Studio Plugin

We know, that leaving your IDE and bringing one more tool into the toolchain can be troublesome. That is why we developed the Embold Visual Studio Plugin. You only need to leave your IDE to get an even deeper knowledge of Embold's findings or if you want to have a look at the visualizations which only our free cloud solution offers. The Embold Visual Studio plugin uncovers potential bugs, vulnerabilities and code smells in C#, with fast scanners that get you quick feedback as you edit the code, so you can fix them before the code is committed. Moreover, developers can use the plugin to generate code metrics data that measure the complexity and maintainability of their code.

Embold helps you write better, cleaner code by highlighting code issues on the fly.

The code issues detected on the fly can be seen under the “Error List” section.

General Usage Instructions

If the Embold plugin is not installed already in Visual Studio, install and restart the IDE plugin. The analysis helps you to write better, cleaner code by highlighting the code issues on the fly, and populating quick solutions. Your overall code quality is maintained.
