Specific Connection Features

Devart SSIS Data Flow Components for Redshift have a dedicated Connection Manager with a number of flexible settings. The Manager supports user/password and OAuth authentication. You can also connect via a proxy server.

Convenient Redshift Source Editor

The Redshift Source component offers a convenient editor, which provides you with an overview of your tables and columns alongside user and system variables. You can also build queries via drag-and-drop and run them to see whether the returned data is exactly what you need.

Advanced Lookup Optimizations

The Redshift Lookup component brings advanced optimization techniques that help get better performance. It applies SELECT statements that check multiple rows at once and caches the returned results to reduce the number of round-trips to the server.

High-Performance Redshift Destination

To speed up data loading, the Redshift Destination component splits data to multiple CSV files, uploads them to Amazon S3, and then applies the Redshift COPY command to import them. It performs these jobs in parallel to deliver the highest possible performance.
