.NET MAUI Project Templates for Visual Studio 2022

Note: this extension is designed for use with DevExpress MAUI Controls only. Included project templates use DevExpress controls to build page layouts.

This extension adds DevExpress project templates for .NET MAUI applications into Visual Studio 2022. The following project templates are included:

• Tabbed — the main project page uses tabs to enable navigation between screens/pages.
• Flyout — the main project page uses a flyout menu to switch between screens/pages.
• Blank — the project does not contain pre-configured pages. You can create your page from scratch and customize as needs dictate.

If a non-blank template is selected, the project also contains the Sign Up, Log In, About, and other auxiliary pages that can be configured based on business needs/requirements.

You can also select the target platforms and controls that you plan to use. The wizard creates the corresponding projects in the solution and installs NuGet packages.

You MUST register your personal NuGet package source for the solution to build correctly. If you are unfamiliar with NuGet packages, please review the following help topic: Install DevExpress Controls Using NuGet Packages.

How to Use a Template

In Visual Studio, invoke File > New > Project. In the Create a new project window, find the DevExpress v22.2 Mobile App (.NET MAUI) template, click Next, and follow the on-screen instructions.
