Web Property Creator makes it easy to create properties for web pages and web user controls.
There are three types of properties you can create: Session, View State and Object.
Web Property Creator 2.0 makes it simple to create properties for web pages and web user controls.
Create properties of type Session, View State or Object.
Session properties are available to the entire web solution.
View State properties are only available to the current page or control.
Object properties are available any where the object is accessible.
Object properties also work in other environments such as Windows Forms or WPF.
The improvements for 2.0 are listed below:
The Font Size was increased to 14; still not considered accessible, but it is easier to read for people with poor vision, like myself.
An installed version was created so if you do not use Visual Studio you can still create properties.
The background image was changed to be consistent with other Data Juggler products
The Icon was changed
A Random Banner control was added, that changes out a new images of one of Data Juggler's commerical products every 20 seconds.
The buttons were changed
A 'Settings' class was added to remember your last selection for 'Include Region' or 'Add Summary' and restore that value the next time you run Web Property Creator. The value is stored every time you click the 'Update Button'.
If you select to make a property of type 'Object', the focus is set to the 'Property Name' text box.
Everything should work the same as before, the UI is just a little more pleasant to look at.
