Start Development Server

To start the development server use:

npm run start:dev

The development server is useful when the development extension is installed in ADO.

Publishing

To publish extension use the following commands. A Personal Access Token is required while publishing. The rev-version option will automatically update the vss-extensions.json file.

npm run publish

npm run publish:dev

Packaging

To create a new VSIX file use the following commands. A VSIX file will be created within the project folder. Typically these files are used for manual upload to the ADO extension marketplace portal.

npm run package

npm run package:dev
