Container Extensions for Visual Studio; allows Linux Container platform users to Build, Manage and Deploy containerized .NET and lot more other applications straight from Visual Studio 2015 IDE to Linux Container platforms such as RedHat’s OpenShift 3 CaaS. With Docker Tooling, you can also connect, manage containers and images right from Visual Studio IDE.

This is pre-release version of Container Extensions for Visual Studio 2015.

Software Pre-requisites

Following are the software pre-requisite to install the Click2Cloud Container Extensions for Visual Studio 2015 tool and manage your application on OpenShift 3.

  • Visual Studio 2015 Community or Visual Studio 2015 Professional  or Visual Studio 2015 Enterprise
  • Git for Windows
  • OpenShift 3 Binaries for Windows
  • Docker Command Line Tool for Windows [1.10.X or above]

Hardware Pre-requisite

  • Processor: Intel Core i3 (or above for better performance)
  • RAM: Minimum 8 GB (or above for better performance)
  • Hard disk: 10 GB Minimum

NOTE: Current version of Docker Tool supports connecting with Docker Daemon version 1.10.X or above.
