PaleNight VS2026 - Unofficial Port

PaleNight VS2026 is an unofficial community port of the PaleNight dark theme for Visual Studio 2026.

It preserves the familiar PaleNight editor palette and adds the Fluent semantic color tokens required by the Visual Studio 2026 shell, including menus, tool windows, tabs, dialogs, and window chrome.

Compatibility

Visual Studio 2026 (18.x), using the stable Visual Studio 17.14 extension API baseline required by Marketplace.

Installation

1. Close all running Visual Studio instances.
2. Install the extension from Visual Studio Marketplace or run the downloaded VSIX.
3. Start Visual Studio 2026.
4. Open Tools > Options > Environment > Visual Experience.
5. Select PaleNight VS VS2026 as the color theme.
