Enable cookbook extension locally

This readme will guide developers to enable, build and debug the Cookbook extension locally. This extension will only be enabled in accenturecio26 organization.

To get Cookbook extension for debugging locally, please do following -

1. Click on User settings option in azure devops.

2. Then click on Preview features options.

3. Keep Cookbook Debug radio button ON.

Build the extension locally

Clone the evergreen_cookbook_AIR2731 project in your local. Once cloned, please run following commands in sequence -

npm install

npm run compile:dev

npm run start:dev

Debug the Cookbook locally

After running the commands mentioned in previous section, click on the localhost url on the terminal which will redirect you to browser and click on continue button which will give you a response Cannot GET /.

Click on the Cookbook debug tab to load the debug extension.

Once you click on the extension you will see following page.
