DORA Metrics for Azure DevOps
Overview
The DORA Metrics extension provides comprehensive tracking and visualization of the four key DORA (DevOps Research and Assessment) metrics directly within your Azure DevOps environment. These metrics help teams measure and improve their DevOps performance.
What are DORA Metrics?
DORA metrics are four key performance indicators identified by the DevOps Research and Assessment team at Google:
Deployment Frequency - How often an organization successfully releases to production
Lead Time for Changes - The time it takes from code commit to code running in production
Mean Time to Restore (MTTR) - How long it takes to restore service after an incident
Change Failure Rate - The percentage of deployments that cause a failure in production
