Requirements The Bing Code Snippets package requires Visual Studio 2013 on Windows 8.1. In addition, working with Bing Translator, OCR, and Speech Recognition technologies require that you download the relevant controls and acquire credentials from the Windows Azure Data Marketplace. Usage You can insert Visual Studio code snippets fromIntellisense, or by opening the Code Snippets Manager from theTools menu. But while most of the snippets that come with Visual Studio are only a few lines long, some of the Bing code snippets include entire methods, and in some cases even entire files. Each Bing code snippet includes comments to indicate its purpose and usage, requirements, and a link to relevant documentation on MSDN. Installation instructions 1. Click theDownload button and select Install. 2. Complete the installation UI. 3. Restart Visual Studio to begin using the code snippets. Note: Express editions of Visual Studio are not supported, but users may manually install the snippets by renaming the bing.snippets.vsix file to a .zip extension, opening it in Windows Explorer, and copying the content to /Documents/Visual Studio 2013/Code Snippets/[language]/My Code Snippets.
