Move Workitem Linked to Test Cases

MoveWorkItem extension helps the team to move work item which are linked to Test Cases from one project to another project. The default functionality available to move work item from one proejct to another doesn't allow to move when you have test cases linked to it.

Overview of the functionality

Once the extension is intalled a move workitem button will be added to the work item form.

You need to select the project from the "Target Project" dropdown.

Once you select the Target project from the dropdown, save the work item and click the "Move to Team Project" button

Prerequisites

1. Need to create a custom dropdown field - 'TargetProject' with list of all projects in your ADO organisation. Its reference name should be Custom.TargetProject.Project names in the dropdown should be an exact match to the projects in organisation.

2. There should not not be any unfilled mandatory field in target project.

Permissions Needed for Migration

1. Need to have permission to move work item out of the source project.

2. User who is moving work item should have ability to create work items in target project.
