Appercode Framework (pre-beta)

Appercode is the cross-platform framework for applications development in C# with the following features:

• XAML markup language 
• Native UI
• Up to 100% of shared code between platforms

Appercode supports the following mobile platforms:

• iOS (iPhone, iPod, iPad)
• Android
• Windows Phone (developing)
• Windows 8 (developing)

XAML with styles and resources support is used for UI markup. Appercode controls are displayed using native controls of each of the mobile platforms, thus ensuring high performance and quality of the native interface.

Appercode contains more than 30 controls ported from Windows Phone starting from TextBlock and Button to Grid and WebBrowser. Apart from them the platform will provide some additional cross-platform controls such as Fly-out menu and Tabs control.

Requirements:

• Visual Studio 2010, 2012 or 2013 in Professional, Premium or Ultimate editions
• Xamarin.Android or Android SDK for developing Android applications
• Xamarin.iOS and an Apple computer with X Code for developing iOS applications
