Workspace Manager

Workspace Manager lets you save and restore sets of open documents (workspaces). To switch workspaces on the fly, select a name from the drop‑down and click the Load icon.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Workspaces created in Visual Studio 2019 are not compatible with Visual Studio 2022, and vice versa.

Installation: Don't forget to enable the Workspace Manager toolbar after install and restart Visual Studio.

Supported operations:

• Save - Stores the current list of open documents as a workspace.
• Load - Closes all currently open documents and restores the documents in the selected workspace.
• Remove - Deletes the selected workspace.

Workspaces are stored in a folder inside the solution directory, so each solution has its own set of workspaces.
