CORS Starter Kit

For RESTful Web Services using C#

Cross Origin Resource Sharing has always been tough to get through in the first go, and we tend to spend most of the project time in setting up fundamental stuff.

CORS starter kit is to help you in getting started quickly and focus on your business logic rather than the intricacies of setting up your Web.config file.

CORS starter kit has been tested for deployment on Azure and it works well. Off-course, you need to add Azure stuff manually to the starter kit solution, but it’s compatible with Azure deployments.

Please note:

Post installation, you can find the new project added under C#.

Alternatively you can search for CORS or RESTful and you can find the project template in "New Project" dialog box.

Once you create the project, you need to manually open the .SVC file in "notepad" or right-click the .svc file in studio and select "View Markup" and update the "CORS_Sample" namespace with the namespace being created while you created the project with this template.
