Introduction

This Extension allows you to get custom variables from PAM360 into the world of AzureDevOps

powered by AlmaToolBox(r), the Almaviva brand dedicated to devops.

How to Use

Create a PAM360 Service Connection:

• When you install the extension a service connection dedicated to communication with your organization's PAM360 is added.

• pam360 service/server endpoint (required): connection to the PAM360 application:

  • API Token: authentication token to the service.
  • service url: service access url

Add PAM360 Get Secrets for Azure Devops to your pipeline

• set you PAM360 service connection:

  • put the name of resource
  • Put the name of account to get custom secret variables

• insert the list of variables you want to get.

  • name of the label in PAM360 account (for example.. dbconnectionstring)
  • name of Azure Devops destination variables to use in you pipeline (for example.. dbconnectionstring_ado)

Note

• this task does not handle the PAM360 "files" type
• this task automatically convert date in "ddMMYYYY" format.
