Stack Overflow Quick Launch Search Provider

Overview

Stack Overflow Quick Launch Provider allows you to search Stack Overflow within Visual Studio.

Just press Ctrl + Q or click inside Quick Launch search box and start typing your question. When you select a search result you will be redirected to the Stack Overflow's site.

VS 2019: Searching from Search box (Quick Launch) does not work. Extensibility is currently not supported in new search experience. But will be added in future VS updates 16.x. Searching errors from Error List still works.
