Track time in less time with automatic suggestions. Activity in work items (comments, update assignee, etc.) and git commits are used to suggest time entries. Users can then review and edit the suggestions, log additional entries (such as meetings), and submit their timesheets for approval. Features:
InstallationAfter installing the extension from the Visual Studio Marketplace, go to the extension's settings page (under Organization Settings) and add permissions for the users who will be using the extension, or enable team-based access. You can configure the suggested timesheets under the 'Service hooks' section in the Project Settings page. Click the 'Add' button and choose TimeTrackingGenius from the list. On the next page, select the event 'Code pushed' and click 'Next' and then 'Finish'. Repeat these steps with the 'Work item created' and 'Work item updated' events. PermissionsUser access is based on either team membership or individual permissions. You can configure permissions from the 'Users' tab on the settings page. Your timesheetTimesheets are accessible from the 'Time Tracking' tab on the project page. The 'My Timesheet' page shows the time entries for the current period. Work itemsTime logged for a single work item can be viewed and edited from the work item page. Time reportsThe 'Time reports' page lets you view and export time entries for a specific period. You can filter by user, project, work item, and category and aggregate by user, project, work item, and category. CategoriesCategories allow you to group time entries.
