Track time in less time using the timesheets suggested on git commits and work item activity.
After installing the extension from the Visual Studio Marketplace, go to the extension's settings page (under Organization Settings) and add permissions for the users who will be using the extension.
You can configure the suggested timesheets under the 'Service hooks' section in the Project Settings page. Click the 'Add' button and choose TimeTrackingGenius from the list. On the next page, select the event 'Code pushed' and click 'Next' and then 'Finish'. Repeat these steps with the 'Work item created' and 'Work item updated' events.
Timesheets are accessible from the 'Time Tracking' tab on the project page. The 'My Timesheet' page shows the time entries for the current period.
Time logged for a single work item can be viewed and edited from the work item page.
The 'Time reports' page lets you view and export time entries for a specific period. You can filter by user, project, work item, and category and aggregate by user, project, work item, and category.
Categories allow you to group time entries. You can add categories from the 'Categories' tab in the settings page.
