Setup
Install the extension from the Azure DevOps Marketplace
Navigate to Project Settings > TestRail in your Azure DevOps project
Enter your TestRail instance URL (e.g., https://yourcompany.testrail.io)
Select your preferred login mode
Save the configuration
Usage
Once configured, open any work item in Azure DevOps. You will see TestRail panels in the work item form displaying linked test cases, runs, and results. The panels automatically load data based on the work item's ID matched against TestRail reference fields.
Requirements
Azure DevOps Services or Azure DevOps Server
TestRail instance accessible over HTTPS from the user's browser
TestRail API token for authentication
