Code Sections for Visual Studio helps developers organize important code with clear visual sections and persistent notes directly inside the editor. Create a code section around selected code, add a title, description, notes, and optional priority, then return to it whenever you need. Notes stay connected to their code through refactoring and edits, while shared note files remain Git-friendly for team collaboration. The extension also includes hover details, solution-wide note search, and guided code tours to help developers understand and navigate large codebases faster.

How to Use

  • [ ] Open a code file in Visual Studio.
  • [ ] Select the code you want to mark.
  • [ ] Press Ctrl + Alt + Shift + N to create a code section.
  • [ ] Enter a title, description, notes, and optional priority.
  • [ ] Save the section.

The section appears around the selected code. Hover over the section title to view its description, notes, and priority.
